Mounts and Fixings
At The Nameplate company we pride ourselves in applying traditional craftsmanship to all our hardwood mounts. All our mounts are individually made and stained with a protective hardwearing preservative.

Iroco and Mahogany Mounts
These are our standard outdoor mounts Stained Deep Red-Brown colour with an exterior preservative. Iroco and Mahogany are the recommended timbers for outdoor mounts.
Oak and Ash Mounts
If paler timbers are required we recommend oak and ash, which are suitable for interior use. Please note that these timbers (oak and ash) will warp if placed outdoors. Oak and ash are treated with a clear preservative. Please call us if you require any information regarding our mounts.

Fixings
We supply 4 number large screws and wall plugs with every mount, so there is no need to run to your local hardware store as everything is supplied.
Brass plates
All Brass plates above 250 x 60mm are supplied with brass capped screws. As illustrated. The smaller plates (250 x 60mm and smaller) other brass plates are supplied with countersunk brass screws.
Stainless Steel
All stainless steel plates are supplied with flat brushed Stainless Steel covers. Security fixings (with two holes) are available on request only.
Standoff / Locator Fixings
Regular Anodised Aluminium Fixing
Theses fixings are generally used with acrylic plates, but can also be used with other types.
Acrylic plates are supplied as standard with anodised aluminium locators
5mm acrylic panels – 13mm x 13mm locators 6 – 10mm acrylic panels – 19 x 13mm locators
